I’m a professional Decorative Artist with my own contracting business, who has a passion for decorative painting and will inspire & guide you with fabulous products and user-friendly techniques.In Our Workshops…
You will produce fabulous samples & learn skills that will revive an old treasure, create fabulous gifts, or redesign a room.
You will use state-of-the-art materials and tools that are all water-based and non-toxic.
You will be provided all tools and materials... just bring your creativity and enthusiasm.
All That Glitters is... Gold, Copper, or Silver Leaf - The application of leaf and the aging of these materials lend itself to a limitless number of projects. Workshop includes a sample of each leaf color.
Distressed for Success - Learn to distress your old or new furniture, moldings, architectural elements, cabinets or accessories. Because our materials stick to almost every surface, this technique can add vintage character or primitive charm to almost anything in your home.
Classic Plaster Finishes - Using only three simple materials, you will learn many variations to make your walls look like age-old plaster. Simple roll and brush on techniques will be demonstrated.
Glazy Days - Move over ragging and sponging… sophisticated mottled finishes for walls or any paint-able surface. If you’ve ever glazed using house paint, you will wish you discovered our glazes sooner. This translucent medium that actually stays wet, makes doing this finish gorgeous and simple.
Stenciling - Learn the tricks of doing beautiful sophisticated painted pattern on walls, furniture or accessories. Once you master this simple, professional technique any stencil becomes a work of art in your home.
Subtle Glow - use Subtle Glow, a state of the art matte metallic textured material, to create surfaces of radiant luminosity. Simple roll and brush on techniques will be. … Coming Soon!

General Information / Registration
Most evening workshops are 2 hours in length, with some Saturday workshops available that may run longer.
Workshop(s) Start at $75
Workshop size is limited. Pre-registration is required, early registration is recommended!
All tools and materials are provided. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm!
Stencil workshops include a stencil.
All that Glitters workshops include a sample of each leaf color.

Distress for Success Workshop
Cabinet & Furniture
Add Character and age to Furniture, Accessories or Architectural Elements – including but not limited to: cabinets, molding, fireplace mantles, medallions, table lamps, and furniture … the possibilities are limitless!
Workshop provides demonstrations, tips of the trade, and hands-on experience with two samples to take home. A trim sample and a picture frame will be provided to create a two color distressed finish on each. Also included will be color samples & knowledge of user-friendly products by Caromal Colours which enables DIY’ers the ability to create beautiful designs affordably!
